When We Were Tourists.

So I am playing catch up once again. On November 18th Sharon had been in San Diego for about a month and I was going on 3 weeks. It was a slow sunny Sunday. We decided to explore.

Sharon and I found our way to Seaport Village. It is a tourist trap for sure, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. You have your usual shops selling sunglasses, jewelry made of shells, funny T-shirts and other trinkets, but it also offers wonderful views of the San Diego Bay. We had a fun afternoon taking in the sights, eating ice cream, and enjoying the sunshine. The first eight photographs below are from our day at Seaport VIllage.

The other three are from our first Thanksgiving together. It was our third as a couple, but we had celebrated with our respective families in the past. This year we took our bikes to Coronado Island. We rode around for a bit and happened to find ourselves on a beach. It was also the first time either of us had celebrated Thanksgiving in 75 degree weather.

    Nice pics Cuz !!

That accidental pic is really kewl, the more you look at it, the more interesting it gets. You begin to realize that there iis so much going on in the picture, but yet it seem so still and eerie at first. It is so unique the way if fades away leaving you to wonder where is everyone wandering away to so slowly…

Also, the photo of the deck boards is stunning. I love it, my personal fav on your blog. The clarity of the rugged and knotty wood makes you feel the strength of the wood to withstand the tests of time.

    Enjoy the weather !
